Our pure raw honeycomb is directly from the farms’ hives in Jarrahdale.

We do not tamper or alter the natural composition of our honeycomb. We do not heat or filter this either to change what our honeybees have done naturally. This ensures you receive this honeycomb as nature intended. Basically a chunk of the hexagonal shaped beeswax cells creating the honeycomb, each cell filled with raw honey, exactly as the bees placed it.

Comb honey is the purest, rawest honey available. You cannot get more “raw” and “natural” than comb honey, just as the bees left it. All the wax is edible and very beneficial. Pure raw honey within with natural crystallisation. The actual comb itself is believed to be more nutritious than the honey itself, containing a natural antibiotic, bee pollen, some residual royal jelly and large amounts of propolis. Honeycomb wax also contains even more of the allergy alleviating properties than honey is well known for.

Each batch of untouched honey retains the floral essences of the flowers from which it was made, but the flavour of wax comb also differs according to what the bees eat and adds a richness to the flavour that extracted honey doesn’t have. Because the honey is still in the comb and has not been touched by man, it contains every bit of pollen, enzymes, propolis, vitamins, amino acids, antioxidants, minerals, and aromatics that the bees produced in the hive.
